		TED KATZ Katz' tradional brand of figural abstration refers to the beginnings of modern painting. He works in an isolated, skylit garden-like studio where he begins with life drawings which then depart to emotive, color charged, objective abstractions.
		RICHARD MARTINEZ Southern Oregon resident Richard Martinez explores atmosphere, shape and gesture all working in union in his immediately eye-catching works. Not shy, these works identify a loose freedom of paint carefully contained in playful while elegant shapes.
