DOROTHY GOODE SONIA KASPARIAN

Sonia Kasparian's exhibit“Objects” will include a variety of multi-media, figurative works. Through transformed, manipulated photographs, Ms. Kasparian investigates objects and objectivity, and the relationships created between the body and materiality.
Her life-sized wire sculptures of female figures which have garnered much acclaim will accompany her newest photoworks--some of which will be fabricated to window-scale pieces to be viewed from the street below.

Also, an introductory show of new paintings by Dorothy Goode
Ms. Goode’s works, explore the body and figuration using obliquely abstract forms.
Her bold strokes and scratchings on the canvas enact a layering of moments, locating the still static figure held arrested, and displayed for the viewer.

First Thursday opening April 5th, from 6-9 p.m.
